Job Description
The independently owned Jackson Hole News&Guide (weekly) and Jackson Hole Daily seek talented design professionals to join our fast-paced and award-winning news organization. Part- or full-time work is possible. If you have the graphic art skills, we ll train the right person about newspapers.
The weekly News&Guide is a tabloid-size paid circulation paper with sections covering news, sports, business, the arts and our neighbors. The Jackson Hole Daily is a 10,500-circulation tab-size six-day paper featuring local and AP wire news. Our photographers and designers have won the National Press Photographers Association s Best Use of Photography award for two years running. We also produce a variety of special sections. Lively information graphics are a big part of our print and online toolkit.

Responsibilities
Design and create pages for weekly and daily papers as well as special sections, assist in production process
Coordinate with editors, reporters and photographers about stories and layout and brainstorm story ideas, infographics, illustrations with our talented staff
Qualifications
Software Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop); experience with Content Management Systems a plus
Personality Skills:
Organized, pays attention to detail, supportive team player, deadline oriented

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
