These positions are located on the Bridger-Teton National Forests with duty stations in Jackson, Pinedale and Moran, Wyoming and perform a variety of duties in support of the unit's trails program.
Incumbent must have the wide range of skills to travel alone and camping out in rough mountainous terrain for eight day stretches using saddle horses and pack mules. These solo skills include but are not limited to saddling and packing up and unpacking 60 and 70 pound loads, and caring for the well-being while monitoring outfitter guide use and supplying trail crews with camp tools and supplies.
The USDA Forest Service has legislative authority to recruit and fill Permanent (Career/Career-Conditional), Temporary, and Term Appointments under the USDA Demonstration Project. Under this authority, any U.S. citizen may apply.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
